Jill H Brickel, CPA, PFS
Principal

Jill H. Brickel is a Certified Public Accountant, Personal Financial Specialist, and President of Brickel & Company, P.A., CPA’s and Consultants, since it’s inception in 1998. Jill is a past President (2006-2007) of the Atlantic Chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Jill also served as Chief Financial Officer of Green Capital Realty Advisors, LLC.

Jill focuses on tax consulting and compliance services for small to mid-size companies, and personal financial planning for their executives. She provides individual income tax planning; estate and financial planning; corporate structure set-up, planning and restructuring services; comprehensive accounting and tax services; business valuation services; and performs cost segregation studies. Jill practices in several diverse industries, including real estate, construction, entertainment, restaurants, and healthcare.

In 2017 Jill expanded her practice to include Business Management services. This all-encompassing concierge service for high new worth families in the elite entertainment community utilizes state of the art technology, while providing transparency and 24/7 access. Acting as your personal CFO she customizes planning strategies for the ever evolving Hollywood and beyond business and family life providing clients with piece of mind in all their unique business and private affairs.

In 2005, Jill worked as the Production Accountant on the set of an independent feature film PUSH. She advised the director and producers on the corporate structure, as well as other financial issues including budgeting, insurance, and licensing issues required for the production's success. Jill continues working in the entertainment industry, providing business management services to top recognized talent in the entertainment industry, including actors, directors, and writers.

Her responsibilities at Green Capital Realty Advisors, LLC included overseeing capital planning, budgeting and cash flow forecasting, debt and equity financing, bank relations, financial reporting, maintaining a strong accounting system and system of internal controls, pre-acquisition analysis, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.

From 2001 through 2005, Jill provided comprehensive payroll services for a Fortune 500 company in 13 Caribbean islands. Her efforts were instrumental in designing a software program created specifically for providing payroll services in complex regions of the world that are not available by the largest competitors in the payroll industry. The services included processing bi-weekly payroll checks for all employees and direct deposit of funds into the employees’ bank accounts. Additional services included providing an import file for the client to upload into their general ledger accounting software program, a full package of reports for each pay run processed, monthly, quarterly and annual payroll reports in each jurisdiction of the 13 Caribbean islands. Jill also continuously researched the payroll tax laws in each jurisdiction of the 13 Caribbean islands, updating the software program for changes.

Jill has worked in public accounting since 1993, beginning her career with Big Six accounting firm, KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP in the National tax practice in Washington, D.C. Jill performed audit engagements for Not-For-Profit and commercial clients, as well as corporate recovery consulting services in a Litigation Support Group. She also worked on complex real estate partnership tax returns. She continued with KPMG and Price Waterhouse, LLP in the South Florida area, where she primarily worked in the Entertainment and Communications divisions in both firms, focusing on tax research and tax compliance for Fortune 500 companies. During her tenure, Jill obtained experience in preparing individual, trust, partnership, and large consolidated corporate tax returns.

Subsequent to working for the Big Six firms, Jill worked for a boutique public accounting firm for two years, servicing small business accounts. She provided compliance services, preparing individual, trust, S-corporation, C-corporation, and partnership tax returns, as well as performing bookkeeping, payroll services, and preparing compilations and reviews of financial statements.

Jill obtained her Master of Science in Accounting degree, with a specialty in Taxation, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida. After completing the accelerated program for both degrees in 1993, Jill became a Certified Public Accountant in 1994.

Daniel Drucker
Tax Manager

Daniel Drucker is born and raised in NYC and moved to South Florida at the end of 2018. He and his wife Ann of over 25 years wanted more space, more sun, better weather and to be close to the beach.

Daniel is a Tax Manager with over 30 years of experience in public accounting, serving a small boutique firm with a varied client base in many industries.

He Specializes in business taxation, tax planning, and client advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients.

His extensive experience with complex tax engagements, including corporate (Forms 1120 and 1120S), partnership (Form 1065), LLC, fiduciary (Form 1041), and individual (Form 1040) returns.

Works closely with high-net-worth individuals and multi-entity, closely held family groups, providing strategic guidance and tailored tax solutions.

A proven leader with a strong background in staff supervision, including workflow management, mentoring, and technical review

recognized for delivering high-quality client service, managing complex engagements, and building long-term client relationships.

Tammy Posada
Bookkeeper

Tammy Posada joined Brickel & Co., P.A. in 2021.  She performs bookkeeping and administrative support services for our clients.

Before joining Brickel & Co., P.A., Tammy worked in bookkeeping and accounting and customer service roles for over 20 years for local businesses.

She continues to build on her foundation by maintaining a close eye on our clients day to day accounting needs, as well as support our team. 

She is a great asset to our firm, always ready to go that extra mile.

Tammy was born and raised in Coral Springs, Florida.  She is married for over 20 years and has beautiful twin girls Alexa and Olivia.

RADOSLAV “ROD” MIRCHEV JR., EA
Estate & Trust Consultant

Rod Mirchev has been providing detail tax review and tax management services to Brickel & Company’s clients since 2005.

Rod is an Enrolled Agent licensed to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. He specializes in taxation and accounting services.

Rod graduated from the University of Lowell (now University of Massachusetts) in May 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. During his college years he interned with local CPA firms and worked for the IRS. In 1989, Rod completed his Masters Degree in Taxation at Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts.

His first full-time job after college in 1982 was as a Tax Officer at the Cambridge Trust Company in Harvard Square specializing in individual, trust, and estate taxation. Several years later in 1985 he took a position as a Tax Manager at the Bank of New England. During his tenure at this bank, Rod had the opportunity to be a Trust Officer/Assistant Vice President and managed in a fiduciary role the trust accounts for hundreds of high-net-worth individuals. The New England real estate market collapse in early 1990 caused the bank to fail and Rod moved over to the Bank of Boston as a Senior Tax Consultant in their Trust Department. At the urging of one of his former bosses from Bank of New England, Rod later moved over to Investors Bank and Trust Company in Boston as a Trust Officer and managed a group of large high net worth clients.

Sunny weather and a wonderful job opportunity awaited Rod in 1994 as he moved to South Florida. He accepted a position at Price Waterhouse LLP in Miami and became a Tax Manager. He worked for PW for 3 years. In 1997 a terrific opportunity awaited Rod at Ernst & Young LLP in West Palm Beach. He took over a Tax Manager position and was later promoted to Senior Tax Manager in the Tax Compliance Department. He had a tremendous opportunity to travel the country training his associates in the new policies and procedures of the National Tax Compliance Department and in issues of tax law.

Rod later took a position in a local firm Kaufman, Rossin CPAs in Miami for a couple of years and gained a wealth of experience in the estate tax area and more importantly he learned firsthand how to run a grow a professional accounting practice.

In 2002 Rod decided that he was ready to start his own practice. In late 2004 Rod had the opportunity to purchase Boca Palm Accounting Inc. from a former Ernst & Young associate where he has been President since. The firm is a small local firm but has a wide variety of clients and types of businesses. Boca Palm Accounting Inc. specializes in tax preparation and planning, bookkeeping services.

Rod is happily married and lives part of the year in Wilton Manors, Florida and the other half in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
